Yes, I know. STILL.
Last week was certainly interesting. How's this for suckiness? There is a book at work that tells our team lead how much work we'll be assigned for certain weeks. What they're going to want us to do and on what days. Oh, except that it's completely inaccurate. We were supposed to have this HUGE workload the week of Christmas. Tons of toys to mark down, and tons of other stuff too. Um, but not. We were scheduled to come in last Sunday (SUCKED!). Got there at 6 a.m. and found out that there was no workload for us to do. They wouldn't "drop" it until Monday. We stayed for an hour and then went home. bleh. Our team lead called to find out why the work never dropped and why we weren't told that it wouldn't drop. We got the equivalent of a big juicy raspberry from them. Well, we figured that we needed to stay ahead of the work that we were allegedly getting, so Tuesday we came in from 6-11 a.m. Oh, Tuesday was also the day where we were scheduled to work an overnight. Awesomeness. So, 6-11 that morning. Come home and sleep as much as possible. Back to work at 8 p.m. to work until 4 a.m. Par-tay. It really could have been worse, but the HUGE workload we were supposed to be getting? As far as I know that never happened. I am so very over having a job. Have I mentioned that? I still just feel like I'm not eve treading water. I hate feeling so completely out of control. Hello? Control freak? YES. I miss my baby. I can't even tell you how many nights I have missed out on much needed sleep because he was willing to cuddle with me.
Depressing much?
Hanukkah went well. The only thing I didn't have finished on time was the jelly doughnuts. The latkes even turned out this year. Usually they're ruined. It was super nice to see my girl J and get to catch up a little. Booze and gossip never hurt anyone. That's what I like to think, anyway. Talking about guys from high school that have microscopic weenuses is good for the soul.
Weenuses?
Weenae?
You know that I like to be correct in my usage of made up words for hoohoodillys.
Well, I have had a headache all day (not a hangover, a headache), so I'm gonna go take some advil and continue relaxing.
We're going to the cabin on New Year's Day. Let's all hope that I'm blogging all kinds of gorgeous snow pictures while we're there.

Big Booty Hos!
I got to do another video for Xyron and there was some dancing going on in between takes. I'm a little scared that there will be an extensive blooper reel that involves us doing the "Tootsie Roll."
The whole "Big Booty Hos" thing is a story for another time.
Sorry, but I've been baking all day and I have to go dry my hair so I can in get bed at a decent time and be at work tomorrow bright and early.
bleh.

Cosmo Cricket
Anyone who doesn't scrap probably has no idea what that means.
Cosmo Cricket is the name of a company that manufactures scrappy goodness (and fabric too!). They were kind and generous enough to sponsor us at Scrap City this month. They sent tons of goodies, and once I finally got to use them I had a lot of fun.
Then again, I already buy their products and I always enjoy using them.

I didn't post all of the pictures of the inside of the mini book because if I had, we'd be here all night.
The name of this line is "Jack's World" and it is so sweet. Great for boys or girls and has a nursery/preschool sort of theme to it that's really versatile. The papers all look so vintage and cute you could use them on just about anything.
I'll try to blog again tomorrow, but holy craziness until Christmas. Tomorrow is the only day off I've had since Sunday, and my next Day off is Christmas. Yeah, I don't go in to work until 10 at night on the 23rd, but I work until 6am on Christmas eve. Let's hope that we get done early or something because not being totally exhausted for Christmas would be pretty sweet.

Some projects and thank yous...

These are the projects that I have somehow managed to finish so far this month. With a complete lack of mojo, a to-do list a mile long and a million other distractions it has been tough to get anything started, let along finished.
These are all projects that I completed for Xyron. The people at Imaginisce (products on the layout and shelf) and the people at My Mind's Eye (products used on the bucket, basket and mini album) were kind enough to send us a ton of goodies to work with. The stuff was a lot of fun to play with, and I am hoping to make a few more things with everything that I was given.
I have more projects to make this weekend with my goodies from Scrap City (let's not talk about how far behind I am. It's making me ill).
This has been such a weird month for me. I look forward to the holidays every year. I love everything about this time of year, really. The weather is nice, we spend our time thinking about what nice things we can do for other people, we get together with friends that we may not have seen all year...you get the idea. But, again, I am just so behind. My tree? Usually I can't wait to have it up and decorated. This year? I don't even think it's half done. I know that I didn't get my weekend after Thanksgiving to spend with family, relaxing and getting the house ready for Christmas, but should that make me so far behind with being ready? Our budget is so tight this year that I'm guessing that that it is why I'm not very excited about shopping. It's hard to figure out how to shop when you only get to spend half as much as you usually do. Don't get me wrong, Christmas isn't about the presents and the money you spend on them, but with the remnants of my type "A" personality it is much easier to plan (and not stress about) Christmas when I can easily choose what to get the kids.
Why does everything have to be so freaking expensive anyway?
I had my root canal yesterday. They said that I wouldn't remember anything, that I'd just fall asleep, etc. The funny thing is that I was awake for the part where I was at the dentist, but after I got home things got a little fuzzy. I vaguely remember eating some soup, then I know I took a nap, then I remember being awake from the nap and getting ready for bed and playing cards until I fell back asleep later. I'm just a little sore today, and I guess that I have to go back for them to clean it out and dry it more (or something like that). Far be it from me to just get a little infection that can easily be removed. Apparently they hit the bacterial motherload in there. Yummy, right? It's not like my entire mouth is full of cooties, this was all up inside my gums, around the root of this tooth. At least the worst of it is over and I didn't freak out and start throwing chairs around in the office a la the incredible hulk.
Hopefully it won't be too long before my next post. I do have a pretty busy week coming up, but three of the five days that I work I'll be off by 10 or 11. Gotta go listen for the kids' bus now...

Ho Ho Holiday hooker nails!

Hard to tell there, but they're red and green.
I know that I have been absent from blogging a lot lately. Man, do I feel like crap! Not about being a bad blogger, but more so about all the other things I'm not keeping up with.
Today I worked (and while working I turned 32. OUCH) I came home and could barely stay awake. I think I'm taking an ambien here shortly to make sure that I can get a good night's sleep because I have so much to do tomorrow. Ugh. So tired!
We took Tucker to see Santa one day at the mall. Tucker's whole look with the sunglasses is totally his doing. He wouldn't wear them, but wouldn't put them all the way up on the top of his head either. What a goof.

I could still eat him up, though.
